Polished concrete

In collaboration with the architectural studio Fortis and the OTKA studio, a bold and timeless project of a round family house in the Vysočina region was created. The house, which was primarily the result of a bold owner with a clear vision, is sensitively integrated into the gently undulating terrain, allowing nature to naturally envelop the house from the slopes and flow into the interiors from the garden. During the implementation, precise execution of the concrete skeletons was ensured, which were aesthetically utilized not only on the facade but also in the interior. Concrete polished plasters were then excellently suited for their complementation, softening the appearance and, in combination with other natural materials such as stone, wood, ceramics, and moss, creating a timeless and harmonious space for a very active family. Imitation of concrete was used as not only a practical but also a highly aesthetic element enhancing the atmosphere of the private indoor pool. Exceptionally well, decorative moss clumps stand out on the walls made of imitation of concrete.
